For one of the greatest dream interpretes in the muslim history, among the Jinn, some are believers while others are satans.
In most cases, Jinn are believed to represent deception, duplicity, cunning, perfidy, treason, theft, alcoholism, travel, music, bars, tricks, sleight of hand, illusion, wizardry, and magic in a dream.
On the contrary, meeting a Jinni in a dream who displays truthfulness, knowledge, and wisdom suggests that the individual will receive good news.
Becoming a Jinni in a dream in Islam
If one is transformed into a Jinni in a dream, it means that he will acquire such qualities.
Seeing Jinn standing by one’s door in a dream means losses, a vow that must be fulfilled, or experiencing bad luck.
As per Al-Bakri, if he dreams that he turns into a Jinni, he will become more treacherous.

A man dreamt that he saw a sceptre in his hand and he hit a ball with it, then the sceptre flew from his hand and landed on his head. Shaykh Shihaab-ud-Deen said to him: Do you have epilepsy? He said: You are right. He said: Because if you break up the word Sawlajaan (meaning sceptre) you get Sawljaan (meaning control of the Jinn), which hit your head.

Types of Jinn in dreams
According to Ibn Raashid Al Bakri, some Jinn are righteous and it is said that they are the earth’s angels, so seeing them in a dream should be interpreted similarly to seeing angels and pious humans, as previously explained.
However, be careful, very careful if you dream of Jinn…
The reason being, some of these Jinns, according to the above mentioned scholar, are demons and they are the ones who engage in deceit and duplicity. They are the adversaries of Adam’s offspring.
If he dreams that an evil thought came to him from Satan whilst he was engaged in Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), this indicates that an enemy is plotting against him but he is not aware of it.
